I've finally achieved my goal ~ to live in a tropical climate. Dale and I are house hopping between Illinois, Florida and Missouri. His hobby is real estate. Who knows where we'll live next. However, I'm really getting to know palm trees!
I've operated my massage therapy business out of the Plano location and still work on clients when I'm home. I can still remember classmates exact posture and think of their body shape when remembering them.
I love nature, gardening, exercise or being creative. I naturally study books about health, self improvement, positive thinking, food choices and other inspirations. |

Its a small world when your 20 year old nephew had the same English Teacher and Track Coach as you did. Just like the show Welcome Back Kotter, I found myself back at PHS. I've done several fun massage presentations for the health career class.
Mrs. Tyler spotted me after the last speech and said "Hi Janet!" and the kid helping me carry my materials was shocked that she remembered my name like it was yesterday !
I also walked past the cafeteria at lunch and could smell that SAME mix of food ~ it took me right back to getting out of gym class and feeling starved for lunch time in the 80's. They took out the steps to the eating area and it feels like you're going to fall because its now flat.
The chocolate milk shakes were very yummy along with dipping the fries in the shake with a hamburger and coke. No wonder my stomach hurt. Oh, how we could eat and not gain weight. Not to mention the hambo's or doughnuts. |
| What was the funniest thing to ever happen to you or that you have done? |

In the 1980's, it was a very cold 2nd shift night at work. Very empty shift. Very boring shift and my friend Lisa and I both were getting flu-ish. We had the brilliant idea to walk around on our break and we stumbled upon the bin of packing peanuts in the mail room. We both climbed inside and covered up with our coats. It was like being inside a huge heated pillow! Suddenly, a big shot from 1st shift walks into the mail room and caught us in the packing peanuts. We jumped out of the bin so fast and felt soooo embarrassed!!! I cannot imagine what he must have thought besides, "where is my camera!"

What is the scariest thing you have ever done?

Dale and I were in his old boat pictured below several years ago in a Nokomis, Florida "Creek" which is about as wide as a 3 car garage. Just as we travelled under a bridge viaduct with water splashing the boat all directions we spot what looked like a log to the left. Upon getting closer, it was an alligator!!! It squiggled into the water just like on TV. I had no idea if it was going to capsize our boat or was afraid of us. We got by and went on with our day. The creek then led us into the ocean where we made a day of it.
On our journey back, there were 2 alligators at the same spot on both sides of the creek!!! They both slithered into the water and I was steering the boat. We had to get through the rough water ahead. I saw my life flash before my eyes. Had no idea what the gators were going to do. We obviously made it through.

| Where is your favorite place to visit? |

I don't know about favorite, they are starting to accumulate. The home in Lake Ozark is beautiful overlooking a cliff top view. The land along northern Florida is beautiful with his emerald green tones in the water. Just being in Illinois is also something to be grateful for. There is nothing like cultivating a fresh new area for a flower bed in the fluffy black dirt and creating your own garden. The fun is to see what grows and how big and colorful.
